ABOUT US
The JMU chapter of Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society, also known as The Chemical Society of James Madison University, is a student run organization consisting of undergraduate students with expressed intrests in the fields of Chemistry and Biochemistry. One large focus of the organization is community outreach, through which we hope to spread awareness of the chemical sciences and spark public interest for the natural sciences.

The Chemical Society of James Madison University shall provide an opportunity for students of chemistry, chemical engineering, and related disciplines to become better acquainted; establish and provide a tutorial service and Graduate School file for all Madison chemistry audiences and exposure to recent chemical information; foster a professional pride among the members as well as an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the field of chemistry.
